touch screen not working after reinstallation in mini2440

The screen is struck at the TsCalib screen.

Also during boot it shows
one_wire_status : 4 many times

i have also tried this using Hyperterminal:

/dev/input
cat event0

but on touching the output are some special characters.

Display: A70i and i have installed the corresponding kernel available at
FriendlyARM Download section.

moving your finger around the screen while doing cat event0 will give you
lots of "special" characters.

Is there an error associated with the message:

one_wire_status

?

The ts_calib screen has instructions on it, are you touching the
cross-hairs and nothing happens?

... and what is in your ts_calibrate file?
