If nanopi2 support vga by using hdmi2vga cable

I only have a VGA monitor, and I wonder if I can use a HDMI2VGA cable to
use this VGA monitor for nano pi 2? Did someone try this connection?

Hello,
    You have to use HDMI to  DVI cable to use your monitor, the kernel
don't support VGA to HDMI driver.
