Superboot unsupported machine ID

Hello,

I'm trying to get kernel 2.6.28 working on my mini6410 but I get the
following error: 
unrecognized/unsupported machine ID (r1 = 0x000009d8).

Available machine support:

ID (hex)        NAME
0000065a        SMDK6410

Please check your kernel config and/or bootloader.

I've checked the forum and found out that the bootloader wants to load
MINI6410.

I've checked the kernel but there is only support for SMDK6410

is there a way to change the machine ID or MACH_TYPE in Superboot to
SMDK6410?
