Could not find file oal.exe

Hi,

I have a problem building BSP from Mini2440-CE6-Suite-20141011. During
Sysgen it says Could not find file
C:\WINCE600\OSDesigns\Mini2440-en\Mini2440-en\RelDir\Mini2440_ARMV4I_Release\oal
.exe
on disk.

I checked where the file should be copied from. It should be built in
C:\WINCE600\PLATFORM\Mini2440\target\ArmV4I\retail\. However, there is no
directory \target under C:\WINCE600\PLATFORM\Mini2440. Obviously something
goes very wrong and this dir doesn't get created, but where? How do I fix
it?

I have disabled antivirus so this is not the cause of the failure.

Any ideas?

I also had the same problem. The latest Suite from 20141011 will not build
properly - even with a fresh install of the Platform builder and all
updates required.  I had to go back to an earlier Suite to get it to build.

mine worked after disabling Microsoft Security Essentials real time
protection. full build worked fine.

Hi Abuda,
You can download it www.friendlyarm.com/download, this version is newest. 
If when you build wince image fail i suggest you should delete old wince
bsp then you install a new bsp above.
