Hello, I have connected a mini2440 (ARM 9 Kit with TFT) to my Ubuntu 14.x based Linux machine via a USB-Serial cable. When I switch to NOR Flash boot mode, I get no output on the terminal window. I have tried using putty and screen setting the baud rate to 115200 and flow control to None. Can someone tell if anything could be wrong ? Help appreciated. Thanks, Anil
No O/P from mini2440 in NOR flash mode
Do you know the history of this machine? I use minicom for this purpose, I imagine you have Putty setup to receive on the correct comm port. If nothing shows up you may have to JTAG your bootloader back into NOR. http://www.andahammer.com/assets/Uploads/All2440/Firmware/JTAGingTheNOR.pdf Everybody should do this at least once!
While you are at this stage you might want to change from SuperVivi to Superboot. There are quite a few threads about <mini2440 Superboot>. I haven't done this, so I don't know how the change is made.
