After having had to much trouble with the 1-wire interface I decided to look at the schematics and found that they kept the 4-wire interface. Just remove L2-L5 and solder them into the open pads of R25-R28. Or you can just short R25 - R28 with a blob of solder. Then you have the 4-wrire interface.
