hello, I have recently buy a mini6410. The board boot normally in NAND mode ,all things are good (serial port, touchscreen, launching applications,console on serial port, ...) but when i start the board in NOR mode, the screen is white and very quickly some lines appear on the left half and the right half is dark and i have nothing into the console(that is embarrassing). I need help because that is embarrassing... Thanks for help!
What do you expect to happen in NOR mode?
I guess, talk to the bootloader with serial port but their is nothing.
OK, it wasn't clear what you were trying to do. How have you set up the terminal program you are running on the host?
Have you got the correct RS232 cable for a mini6410?
I try to talk to the bootloader (switch in nor position) my terminal conf: 115200, 8 bit, parity:none, flpw control:none. What do you mean about the correct RS232 cable ? (My board is a second hand product and i use the rs232 cable from the box)
If it is the original RS232 cable that came with the unit and it worked before you should be OK. The mini2440 uses a different RS232 cable than the mini6410. Does it still work in the NAND position? I would suggest you start another thread and put mini6410 in the title and maybe someone who actually uses the 6410 will come to your rescue.
