hello guys, i want to use gsm modem(wavecom) with mini2440 to send a SMS just like i already used it with hyperterminal on my PC, i run linux qtopia and i use the AT command in but it didn't work. why? what should i do? thanks
I would help a lot if you posted the actual error messages. And so that others have a clue about what you have done is to link to the tutorial that you followed. Did you follow the link I sent?
there is no error message davef, i have no problem connecting and communicating mini2440 with my PC by hyperterminal, i have no problem connecting and communicating gsm modem (wavecom fastrack) with my PC by hyperterminal. what i want to do is, connecting the mini2440 with that modem, and send SMS with mini2440. i connect mini's serial port with my modem. then i click the first picture, and the second, then the third. but nothing happppen. what should i do davef? what should i do guys?
Pix 1 ttySAC1 Pix 2 ttySAC2 (is different) I think you want ttySAC0. Are u following a tutorial? It might help letting us in on the secret :)
hello davef. there is no tutorial about using mini's 2440 serialport with another device. the tutorial is about connecting and communicating with PC which i already did. I just want my mini2440 W35 to recognize my gsm modem. then using mini2440 to send a SMS. and then to dial a number. my step is shown in serial.jpg (my post before this one).
