Could not read calibration: "/etc/pointercal"

why this error occurs ?????

davef
Is the file actually there, ie you have run ts_calibrate?

sagar
Yes Dave,

i am pitting all my efforts to start working of the Tiny210V2 touchscreen
(7").

but nothing seems to work.what exactly this issue is???

Titus Breidung
Try to delete /etc/pointercal and run ts_calibrate again.

sagar
Hi,

Tried as your suggestion but .. No Luck.

if any plz update...

Titus Breidung
Hi,

maybe it has something to do with the file rights. I don't know which
system you use and what is the user the touchscreen service is running and
the file /etc/pointercal has.

It is just an idea, i don't know this error nor i have a mini210

sagar
Hi ,

I am on Linux OS.

now i am able to use the touch screen.

but,
wish to run the QT4 applications demos from Trolltech, which present under
/usr/local/Trolltech..

when i tries to do so... touchscreen doesnot work??

Juergen Beisert
a) what did you change to make your touchscreen work?
b) check the environment varibales prior running your Qt apps. They are
used to define the input devices e.g. keyboard, mouse and/or
   touchscreen for all Qt applications

sagar
i added following to the FriendlyARM.ini

skipcali=yes ctp=2
