S700 Touchscreen Suspends Under Pressure

Hi,

I'm using S700 LCD & Capacitive Touchscreen bundle along with Tiny210V2
module. Under normal usage the touchscreen works quite well, though
whenever I push the screen a little harder with my finger, touch screen
gets locked under the point of pressure with random but slight movements.
The interesting part is that touch functionality remains suspended even
after resetting the board! The only way to get it working again is to turn
the board off and switch it back on, say cut the power and put it back.

Is it only me experiencing this issue?!
Or is there something really wrong?! :-?

Good issue, it can be solvable....

Doubts:

1.Let me know, is ur application layer is android and kernel is linux?
2.if so, when ur pressing the touch screen harder with ur finger...check
/proc/interrupts...whether u are come across interrupts are not....?
3. Let me know, the touch screen completely locked or the portion where u
had touched.....?

We have met this issue. We bought over 10 pieces, all failed at this issue.
We have called and emailed this issue to FriendlyARm. No response yet.
The Touch Screen model is S701.

check outcome of cat /proc/interrupts you can find the interrupts of
touchscreen is increasing.

I have the exact same problem. I have been waiting for a resolution for
almost a year now.
