MINI2440 NOT RECOGNIZED IN UBUNTU

Hi ,

i connected my mini240 board to my PC through rs232 and USB cable .in PC  
Ubuntu 12.10LTS is running .I couldn't able to find my ttyUSB in /dev .
Thing is as i connect my device to the PC in dmesg i can its connected and
all but not in the /dev .what is the wrong going with me device ? please
some one help me .thank's  in advance .

Which kernel are you running on the mini2440?

Have you modified it?  IE, to recognise the mini2440 as an attached USB
device?

I have never tried that myself, so I could be wrong!
