why doesn't ubuntu source have a mni6410_s70 config file

stanlyJ
Hi,

I'm trying to use ubuntu on a mini6410 board, the images available on the
CDs are compiled with a70 configuration, my LCD is a s70 and when i try to
compile the kernel source with mini6410_s70_config i get an error saying
that TASK_INTERRUPT is not defined, that occurs when compiling the drives
of buttons and touchscreen, and when i try to use the image available on
the CDs and which is compiled with an a70 configuration file, i don't
manage to calibrate my screen, so any help about this issue will be very
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. Where can I download atleast any precompiled
images for S70 - AT070TN94 for WINCE, LINUX or other OS ?

well, i think if you're trying to run ubuntu or linux, you can just use the
linux kernel with ubuntu filesystem and it will work. In the CDs, linux
image is created by compiling kernel 2.6.28.6 while ubuntu image is created
by compiling 2.6.38, the kernel source folder for ubuntu doesn't have any
config file for s70 but linux kernel source does. so just use 2.6.28.6 with
your config for s70 and it'll work (hopefully). for WINCE, sorry I have no
idea, and i don't know if it does need a config file, as far as i know,
these file are for OSs that will compile from source, that mus not be the
case for windows, for android may be but windows i don't think so.

I hope my answer was clear enough, and helpful.
