apt-get install Not working on Mini2440? app directly install ?

Hi,

How can i directly download application on FrindlyARM Mini2440 board..as in
ubuntu we use apt-get install "Application", cant we use the same command
on ubuntu..

  please provide any requirements to make it work

Google <mini2440 debian> which I think some people had have working on the
mini2440.  My understanding is that you will get apt-get with that.

May be i cannot understand how they implemented in this post?

friendlyarm board..like we use to in ubuntu..with sudo apt-get install"
Command..is it possible on the board linux?

You have to either compile apt and all of it's dependencies and install
them by hand on the mini2440, or install the debian image, installing
debian (which IS linux based) is the only easy way to do it.
