Hi i looking for adding GSM module to mini 2440 1- is it possible to have mini 2440 with a tablet using sim card 2- adding a GSM module with RS232 connected to Mini 2440 and write te software to command the 2440 remotely with a GSM phone by SMS thanks
1) I think there is some important information missing from this statement. Do you mean is it possible to use a mini2440 connected to a tablet with 3G via RS232 or WiFi? 2) I have seen old Nokia cellphones connected to a 8bit micro Atmel AVR series that are controlled by another cellphone. Google <avr nokia sms messaging> Writing your own message handling with your proposed (2) application is likely to be a significant amount of work.
