Hi I'm trying to port android to my mini2440 with 7" A70 lcd and I'm looking for a good tutorial on how to compile the kernel and zimage. So if you know of any I'd really appreciate it if you give me its link. Actually I found one in the link below but it's for a 3.5" lcd and in the process sets some variables according to the display's specification. Since I don't understand what most of them are I don't know how to change them for my case. So if you know what they are that would be great. ( you can find them in the descriptions below the video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouaKNhytEdo thak you
port android to mini2440 with 7" display
One of the first problems I encountered when wanting to install Android on Mini2440 was that distributors of the device had not compiled the kernel to support my LCD (running an 240x320 LCD W35), so I had no choice but googling a couple of nights I was free to solve my problem. Luckily help was elusive and I found the solution, but not in a very. As I mentioned earlier the Android distribution that provided the company to install it on the Mini2440 was not set with my type of screen (W35) ie the kernel was not compiled for this screen. Now to compile the kernel to work with this type of screen you just have to do the steps on this video that you post it has some modifications on the kernel that you will do on kernel 3.5 inch i worked on it & it works
