cd ` command

If I accidentally type in cd ` instead of cd ~ I get a > symbol, however
CRTL C does not restore normal command line operation like my Ubuntu
desktop does.

I am running the Pengutronix 2012.12.0 BSP and Linux 3.7.  Maybe, time for
a new keyboard, that key does get quite a bit of use.

Just wondering if there is a known reason for this minor inconvenience.

What you type is called a "multi line command"

# command with many and long params

can also be given as:

# command "with
> many
> and
> long
> params"

Just enter a second " or ' to end the multi line command.
