New in Mini2440, Building Linux Application

Cordial Greetings,

I'm new in Mini2440.

I want to know how to use an USB Keyboard (connecting directly to my
Mini2440) for write like to use a PC.

It's possible to develop in Netbeans?
What plugins I will need?
A forum for this develops?

I think it would be safe to assume that most Linux kernels would be enabled
so that you could just plug your USB keyboard in and enter commands or open
a terminal application and ... type away.

Can't help re Netbeans.
