problem when interfacing zigbee with MINI2440

Hi,
I am doing a project using the MINI2440 friendly ARM.I made an application
to send some data through the serial port UART0 of the board.It sends the
data perfectly to a computer's hyperterminal but when i connect a zigbee in
between the MINI2440 and computer nothing is received.what may be the
problem?
baudrate = 9600
8N1 configuration is being used.

What do you mean "connect a zigbee in between the mini2440 and computer"?
How are you making your connection?
