How to install usb drivers for mini 2440 on a linux host (Ubunt

Hi i am new to Friendly ARM mini 2440 and i had connected the board to host
pc,but its not detecting .when i came to know that i have to install usb
driver for friendly arm mini 2440 ....i know how to install it on a windows
system  but i would like to do  it on a linux(ubuntu) pc ..i am using putty
terminal ....can anybody tell me how to install usb drivers ?

You don't need special drivers for a Mini2440 attached to your PC host. The
Mini2440 can act as a USB device and it depends on the drivers at the
Mini2440 side how it act (for example as a mass storage, or serial or line
printer device).
