Booting Wince in mini6410

Praveen
Hi all,

I am trying to flash Wince image. But there are some bad blocks in my Nand
flash and it returns NAND error. Mine is 1GB Nand flash and i am able to
install Linux and Android in it. But Wince is not getting installed. So i
tried to run the Wince image from SDcard directly. I changed the
FriendlyArm.ini file to run Wince NK.bin image. In the serial port it
displays the following line and i don't see anything else in LCD or serial
port.
file: /images/WindowsCE6/NK-i.bin: 45 MB(47504463 Byte)
Unpacking NK.bin...
Unpacked NK.bin Finished
Even i am facing issues installing NBoot.nbo. Using DNW i am able to
download but when i try to boot Nboot.nbo from Nand it says "Reading...NK
Length Error".
All these images i am using is the one provided in the DVD.
I am not sure where i am going wrong or its problem with the board as such.
But i don't see any issues installing Linux/Android albeit bad block errors
comes during the installation.
Can someone please help me to install Windows.

Thanks,
Praveen

I have the same problem.
I had no problem to install the NK.BIN but it's not working: after the boot
has finished to load NK.bin the system halt.
I have a terminal connected to COM1: it says: ".. Launch Windows CE" but
then nothing happens.

I used the superboot210.bin. It's able to install or run only the NK.bin
originally provided by the supplier (We bought a couple of sample from
Corewind (www.minidevs.com)) but not the one built from scratch from the
BSP
