Hi all, trying to download a WinCE image, I always got ****** Checksum failure on record xx, ABORT !!! ************** Tried on two different computers and with two versions of DNW.EXE (v0.50A and V0.50L for WinCE) same results. Side effect: DNW v0.50A works OK in Vista, v0.50L crashes but works on WinXP. Sequence from Supervivi, booting in NOR flash: [f] format NAND flash [v] download vivi (128M board) [n] download nboot [l] download logo [w] download NK.bin at this point I got the Checksum faiulre. BTW flashing Linux-Qtopia works perfectly, NOR flash already updated from JTAG with Supervivi-128 I'm using WinCE files from arm9.net date 2010-01-10. Any suggestion ?
Checksum failure on DNW NK.bin download
Try this one, it works for me.
Edje11, thanks for the help. Unfortunately also the NK_T35 you posted as a link does not work. Is Download Address=0x80200000 correct ?
Update: the same WinCE image downloaded into RAM (NK_T35.nb0) with Supervivi 'd' command works correctly, so the image seems to be OK. Same image NK_T35.bin doesn't flash correctly, giving the Checksum error. Could it be a Supervivi issue ?
Hi Balto, I have used the vivi and nboot that's in the ce60 bsp on the site; http://www.friendlyarm.net/dl.php?file=wince6-bsp_20091203.zip Jtag the nor according the attached manual. You can regonize the correct vivi from the extra menu item with the version number. [i] Version: 0945-2K
hello everybody, You can use the superboot to update and boot up your boards , now friendlyarm uses superboot to boot system , Friendlyarm no longer use the supervivi. I would suggest you migrate your software to current system. Actually superboot can do whatever supervivi can do .
