Interfacing GPS with mini2440

Hello
Could anyone please tell me the drivers required to interface the USB
module of GPS? I am using MT3318 USB GPS module from Nex-robotics.

Otherwise, you can write a simple serial program. Check the Arduino sketch
for GPS to see how.

I am an beginner,i wants to know why .ko and .o files is needed, why cant
we control the hardware through the .ko(driver).
i have interfaced external gps and gsm modem to mini2440.
i am not able to get the modem connected to the mini2440 and i am not
getting the gps data in the mini2440.

so anybody can help.

I replied to 2 of other posts...do i posted my email id there u can check
them and ask me the question?

     Reason for Posting my email id is the if anyone tries my suggestion
and post their reply and were if i cant able to reply them asap then they
will struck in middle, to avoid that provided my other mode of regular
