Not getting log messages in Mini6410 through RS232

Hi,
In Mini6410, I downloaded linux image into SD card and the booting
was successful. Now I want to see the log messages. So I connected RS232
cable to my PC and opened COM port through Hyper Terminal. I didn't see any
messages. I thought to try with minicom in Linux system, but I am not able
to see any COM port created like /dev/ttyCOM.
Is anything required to do to see the log messages? Can any body guide me
how to get the log messages? Thanks.

Not sure about the 6410 but on the mini2440 you want /dev/ttySAC0

Check your cable (you need a host to host cable), check the baudrate (usual
baudrate is 115kBd)
