Hello from Germany, 2 weeks ago, I got my Tiny210SDK2 7". Since then I tried again and again to build my first own system / kernel for this board, after I - really carefully - read the UsersManuell supported on the DVD. My system is Ubuntu 10.04 64Bit. I checked everythind trough the manual up to point 3.3 -> configure and compile Kernel. But there is no "Tiny210_android_defconfig" on the specified path - there is neither one on the entire DVD nor in any archive containing on the DVD. I've gone trough steps like downloading an actual image (20120326) from FriendlyARM's ftp (just same as I got from my original DVD) and registering on several chinese forums that discuss this board, but either they don't open their link-spoiler for me, or they link an image from 2012-05-07 to a webpage, where a registration requires typing chinese CAPCHA's. By the way.... I got an "Mini210_android_defconfig" on the DVD, that makes a full build of the kernel, but - thats my luck - anytime, I install it on my Tiny210 (together with a fresh build rootfs.img), I got a blank screen and after 10 - 15 seconds, a reboot. A kernel-panik, I guess. OK ..... How shall I compile a kernel / system for this board, that works ? Shall I use the Mini-def? Which configurations an additional drivers are needed for this way? Or did I receive an download just the wrong DVD? Is there any way to get the right board-config and drivers ? "proc/config.gz" is unfortunately not supported by the supplied images. Any Help is welcome =)
no Tiny210_android_defconfig found on disk
I have tried with mini defconfig and have failed too. In my example kernel hungs. Shows linux logo + screen calibration for very first time then hangs. Any help? PS. Why does friendlyArm is not friendly?
I also have the same issue. There is no Tiny210_android_defconfig on the entire DVD. I can not understand why FriendlyArm could give their customers such a guide.?????????????????????
Use the mini210_android_defconfig, this is the latest DVD image that covers all of the 210 boards. http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=425700&uk=3590650401 it's in chinese.
