FriendlyARM with graphics pad?

Hi guys,
New to the forum but am trying to do something using a very small LCD
display ie 3.5" or so.

I'd like to be able to 1) connect a USB (or at worst, a serial - harder to
find) to a small linux-based SBC and 2) ultimately connect it wirelessly.

My goal is to have a small LCD display that will continuously show the pen
motions on the graphics pad.

Any thoughts as to how easily to do this?

you need to find the driver for the LCD screen you are using, 
install that driver, and then launch the graphic pad application on start
up
