Android codec, video acceleration

Hello,
I would to know if is possible to use video acceleration 2d/3d and video
codec in android in hardware mode. The microprocessor 6410 support a video
acceleration OpenGl hardware native but I can't use it. On linux, driver
for acceleration seem to be implemented. 
I can't understand what I have to install to use acceleration. I tried to
root the system and install chainfire3d application but no success.
Is there a solution?
