How to write characters,string and text to TFT LCD disp NO OS

Hi every one,

     I am working on NON OS test programs and i have EM-2440 board(Sam
sung), and I have execute TFT lcd display(320x240 pixels) program and which
is working fine, achieved results are image displays, change colors, create
rectangular boxes and lines etc... 

   But i want to display characters and text on the TFT lcd display. how
can i write logic for pixel based characters. please help me i am beginner.
