Screen light up delay

When I switch on mini640 I see black screen without backlight for several
seconds. Is it possible to show kernel logo just after power is on?

The bootloader has no idea about the LCD controller and the backlight. If
you want a boot splash, your should use a bootloader with LCD support,
which can enable the LCD and the backlight and display a nice image while
the kernel starts.
