I am brand new to this unit. So I did something stupid and ruined the qtopia default installation. Going through the different manuals and web pages I figured out that in order to recover, the standard procedure is to boot into NOR flash's vivi and then 1. do x (format) 2. do v (load supervivi) 3. do k (load kernel) 4. do y (load the root file system) I have the 256MB version of the mini2440. I am using ubuntu10.10 on the host side. I did the above four steps, uploading the following files from the CD, using the loader that is on the CD /images/linux/supervivi-128M /images/linux/zImage_N35 /images/linux/root_qtopia-128M.img when all is done, I can boot linux again with b. However, if I switch the unit to load from NAND and then reset (power off/on), my terminal will show "Unsupported NAND", and then stall. What happend, have I fried something? I doubt it. Is there another image I should use?
"Unsupported NAND" won't boot
