Hi all, I,m new in this forum, and after read the topics about this product I have decided to get one for test in a project. I recently aquired a ARM9 Board mini2440 S3C2440 + 4.3" TFT Touch Screen LCD with 256NAND FLASH. Mi idea is to develop like a Home automation with Labview mobile 2010 and WinCe5 or 6. My concern is how to get access to the serial ports, I know you can use VISA for mobile devices or compatibility VI,s, but I,m bit afraid Labview can not detect the serial ports and need to develop a file to get access as in GPIO or ADC. Any help will be welcome Thanks in advance Icaro

Hi Icaro What Home Automation application are you working on? I'm working on Z-Wave. I have not used Labview but you should be able to access the serial ports. Exactly what difficulty are you experiencing? Phil
Hi Phil, I have check the serial ports with Labview, at least COM1 is working with no problems,I tested this with an image loaded in RAM. I have a esky-sh board with 4.3", and have a lot of problems to download an image of Wince, the esky-sh people seems very slow to give me support,if you can help me I will appreciate this. About my home automation, the mini2440 take care of the communication with differents IO,lights, plugs,Hvac, central heating, etc, for each room.My idea is to install one of this boards+7"lcd in each room or area of the house. Each board will run Wince5.0 and are connected via ethernet to a server. Regards
