Android 2.2 screen rotation

Hi i have installed the Android 2.2 image from arm9.net on my
mini6410 (256mb RAM / 1G flash)
but i do not find a posibility to rotate the screen.
ATM the screen is like on a PDA but i want the screen in "widescreen"
normaly you would rotate the cell phone and the screen rotation will
follow.... but since the mini does not have a rotation sensor .. where can
i adjust this...
