first steps

Hello,

I am a complete beginner on programming the FriendlyARM and I have to admit
that I am very lost. I have been reading some tutorials and many doubts
have come to my mind. Let me explain you:

1.- In many articles it is explain the necessity of installing u-boot. But
why is it necessary if the board comes with SUPERVIVI? 

2.- As far as I understand the board also comes with Qtopia preinstalled.
Is it necessary to install it again?

3.-I have download to the board the 2440test.bin and some other examples
with the .bin format using superterminal and DNW aplication and is working
OK. But when I reset the board the program is not running anymore, and I
have to download it again to run it.
Which is the procedure to download the programs and keep installed in the
memory?
which is the way to program it?

I would be very gratefull if you could answer me any of these questions.

1. u-boot and supervivi are the same thing and if you are happy with you
installation is ok you dont have to downloaded.

2. if you are happy with you installation is ok you dont have to
downloaded. that packages are to make format to the mini2440.

3. im not sure if i understand you but, you can send that programms bye
usb.
